okay okay… first run today since my half marathon! i felt burnt out on running after that and fell off the horse.
i don’t feel bad about it though, which is cool. since may, i have gone grain and gluten free! i feel amazing, i can’t stress this enough. i haven’t run once all summer (until today) yet i have actually lost some fat that i think was due to intestinal/gut inflammation. most importantly, i went from someone struggling with ibs and digestive distress, constant bloating, etc, to someone with little to no gut issues. this is a life changer for me.
i’ve been half heartedly keeping up with strength exercises (pushups, squats, sit ups, butt moves) but i have been really focusing on my diet and nutrition since may.
so… im gonna start exercising regularly again. but a bit more casually than i was approaching it last spring. i love running but i don’t feel the need to train for another half marathon. i love the 3-6 mile range.
